Anthropic researchers demonstrate agent-to-agent worm with self-replicating instructions

Anthropic researchers showed that AI agents can pass self-replicating instruction payloads to other agents through the channels they use to collaborate, producing an agent-to-agent worm. The demonstration was research-controlled but relies on the same propagation mechanism used by production multi-agent systems.
