NVIDIA open-sources SoL-Pi, cutting coding-agent token traffic up to 49%

NVIDIA Research released SoL-Pi, which wraps coding agents in an automated research loop that retrieves and caches context rather than repeatedly re-reading it, reducing token traffic by as much as 49% in reported benchmarks. Landing the same week as OpenAI's 50% price cut, it attacked agent operating cost from the engineering side rather than the pricing side.
