OpenAI declares internal "code red" as Anthropic wins enterprise 3-to-1

Sam Altman issued an internal "code red" after concluding OpenAI had spread itself too thin while first-time business AI buyers chose Anthropic at roughly three times the rate of OpenAI. The company is reportedly planning a pre-IPO price war and doubling parts of its workforce.
